A unique wedding reception in picturesque Derbyshire countryside.
At The Elm Tree we can provide everything you need to have a fantastic outdoor country wedding reception which you can put your stamp on and make it exactly as you want it to be. There is plenty of space for guests to relax and enjoy a wedding at this special venue. Whether you go for a themed wedding, vintage, village fete or any other style of event, we are here to help you achieve it exactly as you have planned.
The Venue
For your reception we provide Hi Hat Tipis which are stunning and atmospheric. Decorate them how you wish or leave them just as they are. Either way your guests will love the experience of being at a Tipi wedding. These magnificent structures make for an altogether wonderful reception which fit beautifully in our garden.

You choose which tables you would prefer, round or trestles, with or without cloths and also whether you prefer all chairs, benches or a mixture of both. We provide outside lighting and inside there are uplighters and fairy lights. You can have a fire outside which is lovely to sit around and watch the stars come out. You can have a fire inside the tipis creating a great centrepiece. Space heaters can also be provided to give extra warmth in the evening. We provide a licensed bar with locally made ales, ciders and wine. We provide all the tableware and glassware you need for the feast.

Alongside our Tipi weddings, we can also cater for marquee weddings and for smaller intimate weddings, we have our stylish and contemporary barn which can accommodate up to 50 guests. Whatever your requirements, we will be very happy to discuss the best option for your big day.
We offer wedding planning, advice and contacts to help you achieve the day of your dreams and to ensure events run smoothly and efficiently from start to finish. Our team is conscientious and friendly and will be delighted to help make your wedding dream come true.

DEPOSITS
For all private events and private function bookings we require a £10 per person deposit
which is non refundable and non transferable.
The Food
Our in house catering team, specialises in creating your own bespoke wedding feast. From hog roasts to a vintage catering van, sit down meals to buffets.
We will help inspire you with menu ideas and offer menu advice to include the very best seasonal produce available, using the best produce from local suppliers. Please look at our sample menus here.
